You can certainly tell those are scams when you received emails that says you won but in reality you didn’t even join a contest. I’m experiencing this kind of email scams that I won something. I just delete the message right away.
digital scam such written in this article is “what i received everyday” on my google or yahoo mail. I’m usually get this scam mail : “YOU WON A PRIZE” or “LOTTO NOTIFICATION WINNER” haha…
i always get this scam email “i won a prices” i think everyday? and Multi-level-marketing (MLM) schemes, i think i recieved 6 to 7 email from Multi-level-marketing everyday and its really annoying..
i am using outlook express so its easy to delete it. but still annoying..
@rosa
Lately I’m having more spams. but the service is good and is a user friendly.
@sherry
sound like someone I know. He makes a contest and in the end shows a name of the winner with no links or whatsover to contact the winner to congratulate him/her. Just to find out that there is no real winner. after that the owner of the blog will delete the post about those contest so there will be no evidence. What a scam…holding a contest and getting more visitors because of the contest.
i was also a victim of scam before when i was not yet a blogger. it was through email. and gawk as i am, i’ve anticapted it’s false promises by complying all there req. but when they asked for a downpayment i begin suspecting them. just recently my sister received a scammed email too.
MLM or network marketing I think is a really good, fast and legal way to earn a living – both offline and online. Too bad there are scams out there that smudge the good face of the industry. On the other hand, there are also those that are legit, some of which I’m a part of.
Yes there are many scams on and off line but there are legitimate businesses that are spoiled by a few rotten apples. Just make sure you have a decent product, create a customer base and recruit only those that have a true interest in building a business. You should only sponsor people after you have qualified them. Never pick just anyone to bring into your organization.

If you use Gmail, use a filter on them so in future there is no need of deleting it
